Dr. Hilda B Rodriguez | Education Chair

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Rodriguez has been a teacher and Multi Classroom Leader for the past 13 years at Harlandale ISD. Dr. Rodriguez graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's in Bilingual Education, Texas A&M University - San Antonio with a Master's in Bilingual Education, the University of Texas at San Antonio with her PhD in Culture, Language, and Literacy and recently from Trinity University with her Masters in School Leadership. 

Dr. Rodriguez was the 2021 SAAABE bilingual teacher of the year and has presented nationwide at various conferences. Dr. Rodriguez is also on the board of the Premio Campoy-Ada, focused on bringing bilingual and multicultural literature to students. 

Dr. Rodriguez focuses on providing multicultural literature to students all around the state and leadership skills to teachers and parents to help advocate for the rights of bilingual students.
